Teen Summer Reading Challenge 2022

Ages 13-18

Like last year's challenge, registration and reading minutes submission will be all online through the Readsquared program.

This year you'll have the option of choosing a prize item for every 200 minutes you read, which you can claim at the Adult Services Reference Desk.  For every 200 minutes logged, you'll also receive 1 entry for a chance to win a Teen Summer Challenge gift basket.

Step 2: Read or Listen

Whether you prefer print or e-materials; chapter books, graphic novels and audiobooks count towards reading minutes.

Do you have summer reading requirements at school? You can log those reading minutes here as well!

Step 3: Log those Minutes

Every 200 minutes read = Claim 1 book or choose from other fun prizes at the Adult Services Reference Desk throughout the summer. And every 200 minutes logged, you'll receive 1 entry credit for the Teen Summer Challenge prize baskets, which a drawing will be held at the end of summer.  

You won't receive any additional books or prize basket entries beyond 1000 minutes, but you can continue to log beyond 1000 minutes for fun.
